We want to see lots of pink feather boas and men in trilby hats carrying violin cases!
All the usual attractions will be organised from our most popular boat taxi service and boat trips, to rides on the vintage double decker bus, exciting fare to purchase at the Continental Market and our varied craft, trader and charity stalls. Banbury Folk Festival are kindly providing a 6 hour free folk concert, then dancing to delight everyone around the site will be the usual complement of colourful Morris Dance teams from around the area.
The Mill Arts Centre will be throwing its doors open to show you what they offer as will Banbury Museum. The event wouldn't be the same without all the fun of the fair, falconry and horse and cart rides, plus food and drinks to suit all tastes. For our boating enthusiasts both Tooley’s Boatyard and Sovereign Wharf will be open for business.
We are again indebted to Castle Quay Shopping Centre and Hook Norton Brewery for kindly agreeing to help sponsor this fantastic event that attracts people from all over the country. Coach companies have already requested details of this event to put into their brochures so we know this is an event not-to-be-missed for so many people up and down the country.
See you there – come rain or shine.
