A hearty welcome for Brunomart’s market traders as they descend with their ‘ambiance française’ created by the French & Continental stallholders with their wares and fares in tow, transforming Compton Road Car Park into a French style boulevard.
Shop French style on Sunday 5th October 09:00am – 5:30pm.
Now in its ninth year, Brunomart’s French & Continental market offers the diversity and speciality of traditional French & Continental products.
Its traders offer up tempting delights such as an excellent selection of cheeses, olives, charcuterie and patisserie - follow your nose to the heart-warming smell of bread and pastries; and let’s not forget those wonderful strings of onions, shallots and garlic!

Also on sale are household wares such as French African Crafts, earthenware, Leather Goods, hand woven baskets, lovely costume jewellery and much more – the choice is yours! Or just come along and soak up the convivial atmosphere and practice your French with our friendly stallholders and our phrase book!
Hook Norton Brewery
Not to be missed at the far end of Compton Road car park will be the beer marquee sponsored by Hook Norton Brewery and your chance to enjoy a pint of thier excellent brew.
Hook Norton Brewery remains one of only 32 independent family-run breweries; and you won’t find a finer example of a Victorian tower brewery anywhere.
Hook Norton is still "a real local brewery" and this is a rarity these days; awesome commercial pressures brought about change, but the brewers at Hook Norton became adept at keeping a restless World at arm’s length.
To find out more about this wonderful local industry visit their website.
Radio Horton
On Sovereign Wharf forecourt Radio Horton will be comparing a 6 hour programme of dance and music, details of which can be found on the 'Performers 2009' page.
The station, which is in it's 45th year of broadcasting, exists simply because the Horton Hospital is on occasions the temporary "home" for local people. However, life in the wards isn't all needles, examinations, prescriptions etc. There is still a lighter, funnier, happier side as well and that's where Radio Horton comes in.
Find out more about Radio Horton at their website.
Makendoo Workshops
A thrill for all children, Mikendoo will again be holding one of their fantastic workshops under the boardwalk.
Don't let your children miss this opportunity to have great fun and make ghostly and ghastly masks, hats and banners to take home as a lasting souvenir of their very own artwork.

In 2007, the club became Banbury Gliding Club to best reflect our relationship with the local community.
